This Too Shall Pass
2025

1/2
Emotions are not thoughts but sensations—chemical currents moving through the body like tides. Most last only ninety seconds, yet we prolong them by replaying stories that keep them alive.
In This Too Shall Pass, I explore this fleeting nature of emotion through images applied to mirrors and a nearby clock marking the ninety-second arc. Viewers are reflected into the work itself, invited to notice their own attachments: I broke the plate and this feeling is embarrassment. My mother is sick and this feeling is sadness.
A meditation on impermanence, awareness, and the quiet liberation of letting go.
