Envisioning Trees
Growing up, I was certain that my compromised eyesight stood in the way of, well, just about everything. But then, as an adult, I realized I could see many sun stars popping out from multiple soft edges. That my vision absorbs a slightly different reality is not a problem; it is a gift. I see in abstract and would not trade this for anything today.
In this series, still in development, I am looking at trees in each season. Scientists understand now that trees communicate with one another through their root systems, sharing nutrients to compensate for weakness. This series focuses on that hidden connection between them and the aura of interdependence.
